SC Builders Earns CEA Safety Award - Sixth Year in a Row!
January 20, 2012

Each year, the Construction Employers Association (CEA) in Northern California honors member companies for demonstrating outstanding commitment to safety. Various criteria are used to evaluate that commitment, including incident rates and lost-workday rates that are below the construction industry average, as well as low "ex-mod" workers compensation rates, and an active safety awareness and training program on every jobsite.

The 2011 Excellence in Safety Award is a tribute to all of our project managers, superintendents, and other field staff who are thoroughly trained and are empowered to serve as safety monitors — to find, report, and correct safety issues, no matter how small, including safety concerns that may arise in our subcontractors' activities onsite.
