SC Builders Relocates and Expands San Francisco Office

July 15, 2014

SC Builders announces the relocation and expansion of their San Francisco office to 109 Stevenson Street, on the corner of 2nd Street. The new space in SOMA is ideally located to easily accommodate expanding office operations and a broadening client base.

Kirk Wagerman is a senior project manager and Principal in the San Francisco office of SC Builders and states:

“We launched our San Francisco operations in this neighborhood two years ago and we were fortunate to be able to relocate just a few blocks away at 109 Stevenson Street,” said Wagerman. “Our new location allows us to accommodate our expanding team and future growth.”

The rapid growth of the two-year old office can be directly attributed to our strong reputation as skilled builders who value Trust, Technology, and Expertise. SC Builders’ long list of clients, including some of Silicon Valley’s top technology companies, bolstered SC’s move into San Francisco during this technology building boom. SC Builders recently completed Eventbrite’s 97,000 sq. ft. new headquarters located just a few blocks away at 155 5th Street. Other recently completed high profile projects include G2 Insurance, Appirio, and Real Page.

SC Builders Gives Blood
October 3, 2013

On October 3rd, SC Builders hosted the American Red Cross for Blood Drive at our Sunnyvale office. We had a great turnout and we appreciate everyone who participated! Our goal was to provide a minimum of 25 donors and we ended the day with 30. Once the blood is separated into individual components (red cells, platelets and plasma), it will potentially serve the needs of up to 72 medical cases (and may even save a few lives!).

SC Builders Headquarters Achieves "Energy Star" Status
November 9, 2012

SC Builders' main office in Sunnyvale has earned the Environmental Protection Agency's "Energy Star" certification for 2012. Founded on the premise that energy efficiency is the fastest and cheapest way to save energy, save money, and prevent greenhouse emissions, the EPA's Energy Star program compares buildings of similar size and scope in the U.S. in their use of electricity, water, and gas — along with a host of other energy-efficient factors in building design, operation and maintenance.

After a lengthy application, response and audit process, the EPA scored SC Builders in the 76th percentile!

SC Builders Business is Booming
February 10, 2012

Tech titans such as Facebook and Google have been rapidly growing in Silicon Valley. And the name attached to many of these buildouts is SC Builders Inc. The commercial contractor, started in 1999 by Sam Abbey and Chris Smither, has been growing steadily since its inception. It's been working on several high-profile, sizeable projects, and pulled in more than $100 million in 2011 alone.
