The renovations on this project included a sea otter mural and an interactive map, among several other high-tech features. The center will now feature a new touchscreen exhibit displaying livestream feeds of various locations throughout the internal hospital, in addition to new accommodations at their call center to support the 15,000 calls they receive each year. With environmental health being an imperative ideal for the center, sustainability was greatly integrated into the project with cost-effective solutions that included the reuse of previous elements and overall limited use of plastic.
